भारत की नेवी अब पहले से कहीं ज्यादा modern हो रही है। पहले विदेशी हथियारों पर निर्भरता थी, लेकिन अब indigenous defence companies पर भरोसा बढ़ रहा है। इसमें दो बड़ी कंपनियाँ सामने आई हैं, Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) और Solar Industries। आइए जानें क्यों ये दोनों names Navy की trusted list में हैं।

Bharat Dynamics Ltd

BDL 1970 में बनी और तब से देश की guided missile production का base है। आज इसका market capitalization Rs. 56,410.30 crore और share price Rs. 1,538.90 है।

कंपनी के manufacturing hubs Hyderabad, Bhanur (Telangana) और Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) में हैं, साथ ही नए units Ibrahimpatnam और Amravati में सेट हो रहे हैं।

BDL क्यों Navy की पसंद है:

• Ship Air-Defence: जनवरी 2025 में Defence Ministry से Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) का contract मिला। यह supersonic vertical-launch system नेवी की ships को aerial threats से बचाएगा।
• ASW Capabilities: Anti-Submarine Warfare suites, torpedoes और torpedo-defence systems integrate करने की क्षमता। साथ ही sonobuoys का co-production भी करता है, जो submarine detection में काम आते हैं।
• Underwater Weapons: Varunastra heavy-weight torpedo (ship-launched, acoustic homing) और TAL-XP lightweight torpedo (ship/helicopter launch)।

इन सब capabilities से साफ़ है कि BDL सिर्फ hardware ही नहीं, बल्कि full systems integration और lifecycle support भी नेवी को देता है।

Solar Industries

Solar Industries defence sector का दूसरा बड़ा नाम है। इसका market capitalization Rs. 1,27,173.82 crore और current price Rs. 14,053.90 है। पहले mining और infrastructure explosives के लिए जानी जाने वाली यह कंपनी अब Navy के लिए high-energy defence solutions दे रही है।

Solar की खासियतें:

• Indigenous Explosives: SEBEX-2 (TNT से दो गुना अधिक lethal) और SITBEX-1 (thermobaric fill, लंबे समय तक blast effect)। ये खास warhead materials Navy की ज़रूरत के मुताबिक बने हैं।
• Naval Ammunition: Navy को 30mm indigenous ammunition और underwater-stable formulations supply कर चुकी है।
• Missile Components: Propellant charges, boosters और energetic subsystems missile और rocket programmes का हिस्सा हैं। यानी Navy के munitions और propulsion systems में indirect लेकिन critical भूमिका।

Solar Industries की पहचान अब सिर्फ mining explosives तक सीमित नहीं रही — ये defence ordnance में भरोसेमंद vendor बन चुकी है।

BDL और Solar Industries दोनों ने दिखा दिया है कि भारत की नेवी अब विदेशी suppliers पर नहीं, बल्कि अपने ही defence ecosystem पर निर्भर हो सकती है। एक तरफ BDL Navy को missiles और underwater weapons दे रहा है, तो दूसरी ओर Solar energetic fills और propulsion systems से उसे और मजबूत बना रहा है।
